The Primary Election for the City of Loogootee was held Tuesday, May 2nd. There was no competitive races on the Republican side this May. Incumbent Mayor Noel Harty defeated Teresa Nolley by 81 votes, 312 to 231. For Council At-Large incumbent Rob Gilbert defeated James (JD) Flynn by 30 votes, 272 to 242.
