The Huron community revived their Memorial Day Celebration again in 2016, and large crowds attended the varied events on Monday May 30th. Crowned as the Queen of the Huron celebration was Kortni Doane, the 17-year-old daughter of Nora and Darrell Doane, of Mitchell. The crowning is shown on the stage on a beautiful sunny Memorial Day. Crowned as the 2016 Princess was Jasey Ritchison, the 6-year-old daughter of Jacklyn Merry, also of Mitchell.
