Darlene K. Crim, age 80, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away at 6:18 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Linda E. White Hospice House, in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born on June 17, 1940, in Shoals, Indiana, to the late Fred and Gladys (Neukam) Bauer.

Darlene married Glenn Crim on June 23, 1960, and spent 60 years together.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Loogootee, and was the church secretary for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and tending to her flowers. Darlene was an excellent seamstress and loved to play games with her family. Most importantly, she loved her family and cherished the memories that they made together.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Crim, of Loogootee; daughters, Teresa Haag and husband Anthony, and Leanne Love and husband Jim, both of Loogootee; grandchildren, Krystle Hahus and husband Leonard, Derek Haag, Tyler Love and Danielle Love; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Nolan Hahus; siblings, Patricia Graves and husband Lary, of Tipton, Dr. Rick Bauer and wife Becky, and Rita Denson and husband Doug, of Loogootee; sister-in-law, Linda Bauer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Bauer and Roger Bauer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15th, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Loogootee.

Burial will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery, in Loogootee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday (today), October 14th, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Blake Funeral Home, in Loogootee, and on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Loogootee.
