Darrel Edward Salmon, age 40, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021.

He was born on October 24, 1981, in Washington, Indiana, to Roy and Debra (Webster) Salmon.

Darrel was of Christian Faith and graduated from Shoals High School in 2000, and Wyoming Technical Institute in 2001. He will be remembered for his quick wit, amazing sense of humor and generous spirit. He was a talented singer, song writer and musician. He was also a very creative wood worker. Above all, he cherished the moments with his son, Cole, who he affectionately called Pup, the most. He was his pride and joy.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Roy and De-bra Salmon, of Shoals; one son, Cole Salmon, of Lutz, Florida; sisters, Jonie Roach and husband Jason, of Shoals; and Janelle Howard and husband Scott, of Bedford; nephews, Aiden and Alex Smith, and niece, Kaylee Howard; Grandpa, Robert Webster, of Odon; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Fern Salmon, and maternal grandmother, Betty Workman.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov-ember 20th, at the Queen-Lee Chapel, of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Inc., in Shoals. Pastor Jim Lilly will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service hour on Saturday.
