David Wesley Qualkenbush, age 62, of Shoals, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, in Washington, Indiana, at the Daviess Community Hospital.

He was born on January 25, 1958, to James R. and Wilma (Sorrells) Qualkenbush.

He was previously employed at the Red Door Industries, in Loogootee, Indiana.

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Qualkenbush, of Shoals; and brothers, Michael Qualkenbush and wife Debbie, Brad Qualkenbush and wife Sandy, and Shawn Qualkenbush, all of Shoals; nieces, Karen Baker, Kellie Shaw, and Lindsay Qualkenbush; nephews, Lance Mountford and wife Vonda, Kevin Qualkenbush, C.J. Qualkenbush, Aaron Qualkenbush, and Andrew Qua-lkenbush; aunts, Jeanne Edwards, of Bedford; and Marilyn Hardwick, of Shoals; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Qualkenbush; grandparents, Oscar and Bernice Sorrells and James and Vina Qualkenbush; one sister, Sherry Emmick; aunts, Hazel Moore, Helen Payne, and Ruth Stout; and one uncle, Gene Qualkenbush.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th, at the Queen-Lee Chapel, in Shoals, of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Inc.

Burial was made in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
