Lisa S. Engleman, age 60, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 27, 1961, in Washington, Indiana, to Gerald and Lucretia (Woodling) Padgett. She married Steve Engleman on June 11, 2001.

Lisa was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked at Tri-Star Glove, in Plainville, Indiana, for over 16 years, where she was known to always have a smile on her face and dearly loved all of her co-workers. She enjoyed yardwork, flowers, and antiquing. Lisa had a way of letting everyone know they were loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Steve Engleman, of Loogootee; her daughter, Michelle Sherfick and husband Cameron, of Montgomery; four step-daughters, Amber McBride, of Loogootee; Sarah Hayhurst and husband Ben, of Washington State; Anna Martin and husband Branden, and Stephanie Englemen, all of North Dakota; 11 grandchildren; her siblings, Sharon Sims and husband Travis, of Odon; Barbara Smith and husband Rick, of Sandborn; Mary Kaiser and husband Tom, of Glendale; and John Padgett and wife Teri, of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation was chosen according to her wishes.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, January 8th, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the Raglesville Park. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

The Blake Funeral Home, in Loogootee, was in charge of the arrangements.
