Louise “Jackie” C Pattison, age 100, of Jasper, and formerly of Carmel, Indiana, died peacefully Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Charles Health Care Center.

She was born January 11, 1921, in Richmond, Virginia, to Thomas and Louise (Bayliss) Callaham.

Jackie moved to Indianapolis, in 1939 where she met her husband, William E Pattison. They were married April 3, 1943 at Camp Gordan, Georgia, and were lifelong partners until his death in 2013.

Bill and Jackie made their home in Carmel from 1959 until 2012 when they moved to Jasper to be closer to their daughter.

Jackie worked for Union State Bank, in Carmel, for many years and was a lifelong member of Carmel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW) and was their Women of the Year in 1978.  She was also a member of the Literary Club of Carmel. She enjoyed ballroom and square dancing, and traveling with her husband.  

She is survived by her brother Neal Callaham, and wife Patricia, of Houston, Texas; daughter Carol Staab of Carmel, Indiana; son Major(ret) William H. and wife Jan, of Yorktown, Virginia; along with 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3rd, at Blake Funeral Home, in Loogootee, Indiana.

Weather permitting, a graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Cemetery, in Loogootee.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local YMCA.
