Patricia Gail Hawkins, age 84, of Washington, and formerly of Shoals, Indiana, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Patricia was born in Daviess County on September 22, 1936, to the late Frank and Thelma Roark. She was a devoted wife, and was married to the late Alton Hawkins on October 19, 1959.

She was a loving mother and enjoyed her children as well as others, as she was a bus driver for many years, and a teacher. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and she lived her life for the Lord.

Patricia leaves behind her loving son, Micah Hawkins; brother, Paul Roark, and wife Alice; nieces and nephews, Rick Hawkins, Troy Roark, Tim Roark, Phil Hawkins, Tim Hawkins, Sondra Emery, Toni Craney, Joni Blaker, and Brian Hawkins; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 13th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the Gill Funeral Home, in Washington,  with a Celebration of Life held at 12:00 Noon, also at the funeral home.

Burial followed at Hamline Chapel Cemetery, at 9034 E. Hamline Chapel Road, Monroe City, Indiana.
