Mrs. Savannah Pamnena Warren passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the Villages at Oakridge, in Washington, eight days after her 109th birthday.

She was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, to the late Don and Grace Allen. She was one of thirteen children. Savannah was the third to be born, and the only one to have survived the others.

She married Burl Warren in 1930, and he passed away in 1966. They had two sons, Ronnie and Larry Warren. Ronnie joined the U.S. Navy, and during his time of service for his country, he had a mental breakdown and has spent the last 27 years of his life in the Veterans Hospital. Larry Warren, of Washington, is the only survivor.

A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Holiness Church, in Petersburg, on Wednesday, November 27th. Viewing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with the service to be held at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Craig Line will officiate.

The Queen-Lee Chapel, in Shoals, of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
