Theresa Ellen Roach, age 71, of French Lick, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 21, 1950, in French Lick, Indiana, to Carl Ronald and Waunita (Lewis) Lysinger. She married Randall Roach on August 17, 1968, and they recently celebrated their 53rd Anniversary.

Theresa graduated as Valedictorian of her class from Shoals High School in 1968.

When her children were in school, she enjoyed volunteering as a teacher’s aid for elementary students. After her children were grown, she worked at Walmart for 20 years, where she made many treasured friends. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Theresa’s Faith and love for God, along with the support of her loving family, helped her face cancer with courage and dignity.

Survivors include her mother, Waunita Lysinger, of French Lick; husband, Randall Roach, of French Lick; son, Stephen Roach and wife Kendra, of French Lick; daughter, Lisa Chaplin and husband Billy, of French Lick; one brother, Craig Lysinger and wife Bethy, of Lafayette; one sister, Kathy Lagenour, of French Lick; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Ronny Lysinger; and her grandparents, Carl and Dorothy Lysinger and John and Ada Lewis.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 11th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, in French Li-ck.

Burial followed at the Emmons Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation for friends was held on Saturday, September 11th, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
