William Jacob Shaw, age 31, of Shoals, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, in Loogootee, Indiana.

He was born March 26, 1989, in Bedford, Indiana, to Terry and Rheta (Crowder) Shaw.

Jacob was a member of the Shoals High School Class of 2007, was formerly employed by U.S. Gypsum, in Shoals, and the White Stallion Coal Mine, in Montgomery, Indiana. He was of Christian Faith.

Survivors include his parents; his grandfather, William Shaw, of Shoals; two daughters, Kamdyn Shaw and Kamryn Shaw, both of Shoals; four brothers, Eric Shaw and wife Jamie, Chad Shaw and wife Kellie, Joby Shaw and wife Megan, and Jonah Shaw, all of Shoals; nieces and nephew, Maggie Shaw, Gracie Shaw, Carson Shaw, Kenley Shaw and Kyra Shaw; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy Crowder and Vera Crowder; and paternal grandmother, Barbara J. Shaw.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10th, at the Shoals Christian Church. Brother Joe Crow officiated the service.

Burial was made in the Spring Hill Cemetery, at Shoals.

Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th, and from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Queen-Lee Chapel, in Shoals, of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Inc., and 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the Church.
